The idea behind Movaio came from a simple observation: in complex projects we lose too much time to confusing processes, a lack of transparency and inefficient coordination. Our goal was to create a solution that does not just digitize, but genuinely makes everyday collaboration simpler and better. With Movaio we have built a platform that adapts to the needs of the projects and not the other way round. I am proud of what we have created together and of the potential that still lies ahead of us.

Movaio is a web application. Everyone involved needs an account and a browser, not a rollout inside somebody else’s IT department. Sign-in runs through Microsoft 365, and on request without a Microsoft account. Movaio can also be used directly as an app inside Microsoft Teams. It runs on AWS in the Frankfurt region by default. With the Enterprise plan it can also run on another platform or on your own infrastructure.
Security sits with us
Movaio GmbH is responsible, together with IT specialists. Access runs through ABAC, every action is recorded with person and time, and a data processing agreement is in place with the host.
Your data stays yours
When the contract ends you receive the complete data of your projects, case history included.
All prices are non-binding list prices, net plus VAT. Only the individual quote is binding. For large projects and the public sector we set terms according to scope.

What is Movaio?
Movaio is web-based software for workflow management and project control in construction and infrastructure. Every case, such as a defect, a task or an acceptance, follows a configurable workflow with clear responsibilities and automatically calculated deadlines. Everyone involved sees the same status.
Who is Movaio for?
Movaio is aimed at everyone who steers complex construction and infrastructure projects: owners and clients as well as the project controllers, PMOs, engineering and planning firms who steer projects on their behalf. Depending on how it is used, the companies carrying out the work use Movaio too, for their own processes or together with the other parties in the same project. Movaio fits wherever many stakeholders, complex processes and high risks come together, in construction as well as in other industries.
How is Movaio different from software for defect management and construction documentation?
Software for defect management and construction documentation mainly records what has happened on site. Movaio covers documentation as well, with minutes, files attached to each case and a complete history of every action. Its focus, however, is on control: every case follows a workflow with responsibilities and deadlines, and Movaio uses them to calculate a forecast end date and to warn about delays. Movaio is mostly used by owners and by the project controllers or planners who steer projects on their behalf, and depending on the project also by the companies carrying out the work. Each person sees and edits only what their role requires.
How much does Movaio cost?
Movaio starts at a list price of €490 per month. Billing is based on active projects plus a user package: Starter with up to 3 active projects costs €490, Professional with up to 10 active projects €1,290 and Enterprise from €5,000 per month. Annual billing comes at a reduced price, and you can cancel monthly. All prices are non-binding and net, only the individual quote is binding.
Who sets Movaio up?
We set Movaio up for you. Process modeling, configuration and rollout are handled by specialists from Movaio, so you do not have to assign anyone. Setup is a one-off fee depending on scope, from €490.
Do I need to install anything?
No, Movaio is a web application. Everyone involved only needs an account and a browser. Sign-in runs through Microsoft 365, and on request without a Microsoft account. Movaio can also be used as an app directly inside Microsoft Teams.
Where is the data stored?
Movaio is hosted in Germany, by default on AWS in the Frankfurt region. A data processing agreement under the GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. With the Enterprise plan, operation on another platform or on your own infrastructure is also possible.
What happens to our data when the contract ends?
When the contract ends you receive the complete data of your projects, case history included.
Day to day in the project
How does Movaio help you meet deadlines?
Movaio calculates a deadline for every work step, in working days with the public holidays of the respective German state if required. This gives every case a forecast completion date that moves back automatically when there are delays. If a date is missed or a delay is emerging, the people responsible receive an email the next morning.
Can I store documents and minutes in Movaio?
Yes. Files such as PDFs, Office documents, images and large plans are attached directly to the respective case. Meetings and site inspections are recorded as minutes, linked to the cases concerned and exportable as PDF with your logo.
Who can see what in Movaio?
Each person sees and edits only what their role in the project requires. We define the rules together with you during setup, for example: only the person who created a case may change it while it is a draft.
Can you trace who did what and when?
Yes. For every case Movaio records who completed which step and when, and whether the deadline was met. You can export this history as PDF, for example as evidence in a dispute.

4. Zugriffsdaten und Server-Logfiles
Beim Besuch unserer Webseite erfasst AWS automatisch technische Zugriffsdaten in sogenannten Server-Logfiles.
